Wroclaw is the chief city of the historical region of Lower Silesia in Poland. The city is very old - it originated as a Bohemian stronghold situated at the intersection of two long-existing trading routes, the Via Regia and the Amber Road. The city was first recorded in the 10th century as Vratislavia. The record tells king Boleslaw I of Poland established here the first bishopric of Silesia in 1000. In the 13. century Wroclaw became the chief city of Silesia. Our 3D photographies show the city center, the third one a bridge.
